As one of the best screenplays ever written, growing screenwriters can learn a TON from the first few opening pages of the Alien script. 

Alien is one of my favorite sci-fi films. 

It also happens to be one of the most influential scripts in that it changed how screenplays are written. Things looked a bit different format-wise back then, but the timeless lessons are here to stay.

So, if you’ve not read the screenplay for Alien yet, I highly encourage you to do so! There’s so much to learn.
