News Flash

I have some exciting news: I started a Facebook group for all of you storytellers! The group is calledThe Screenplay Circle. I chose this name to reference the relaxed yet refined places of learning, reading, and studying that were more popular in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Biltmore, anyone?

Even though there are so many writing communities online to be a part of, I wanted to make a sophisticated space where we could have elevated and thoughtful dialogue about storytelling, worldbuilding, and screenwriting.

So, If you’re a writer of any stripe or shade, please run over and join our Facebook group. Feel free to introduce yourself and mention one of your favorite stories or what you enjoy writing the most. And don’t worry, there will be people in our group of all backgrounds and all levels of expertise. Don’t be shy.

Benefits

I want our group to be a place where you can engage personally while we work through the storytelling conundrums that we all experience. Here are some other ways the group can help you:

  • Trade knowledge.

  • Encourage one another.

  • Network with like-minded storytellers.

  • Swap anecdotes.

  • Commiserate about the ends and outs of life as writers.

  • Share writing memes.

  • Trade drafts for feedback.

So, if this sounds like a group you would like, then join the group — right now! Finally, please invite three friends who would benefit from being part of our community.
